It was an old fashioned breakfast restaurant that served more than 80 years (currently was the 4th generation if I'm not wrong). Try to visit on the weekend but the queue was too long, so try another on weekday and managed to get a seat. Food wise was not bad, as for the drinks was just okay. Price consider cheap and affordable for everyone. The owner was very nice and teach the correct way to take/eat the breakfast, especially the Signature French Toast, you need dip it with mixed soy sauce and tomato sauce. The sauce combination wasn't my taste but it was nice experience.

It was our first time coming here, we were recommended by our friends. It is interesting as the queue numbers go by the arrangement of how the uncle writes on his note pad. If you take the number card without his acknowledgment it doesn’t count. We waited for 30-40mins on a Sunday morning, worth every single minute. The food was heartwarming and fresh. We even bought the takeaway bread. Definitely will come back here again!!!!

Thai-style American Breakfast since 1933. Ordered: 2 eggs + 4 toppings Steamed bread + kaya (egg custard) Signature French toast Simple and nice breakfast. I recommend their signature French toast, so good

An old school place you can feel comfortable dining amongst locals. Breakfast is simple, affordable and good. I loved the steamed bread with Kaya so I came back for a second visit. The free tea is a nice touch. I think it would be good to come before 10 on a weekday

Came across this location while doing our research on where to eat. Authentic local breakfast place and they have quite a good mix of locals and tourist when we visited on a weekday morning. Food wise it’s average for us, but it is very cheap and definitely can fill you up! Their kaya toast is probably the stand out items in their menu, perfect with their fluffy steam bread too. Do expect some queue during peak hours as it was full house when we arrived.

I came here not having high expectations - just wanted cheap breakfast at a restaurant with over 4 stars on Google. When I arrived, though, there was already a queue! I knew then it was popular, so I waited, probably a bit over 5mins. I took a seat on the second floor. The man who took my order was very kind and pleasant. I had a fried egg with sausages and bacon, steamed bread with kaya, and coffee with milk and loved everything I ordered. I’m no fan of coco jam, but I loved their kaya so much. The coffee was not too sweet and not too bitter either. They also served hot tea. My breakfast cost only 117 baht. 😌

Legendary cafe from old time. Noticeable from the worn out table top. Simple menu and quite systematic queuing and services, so long waiting time is acceptable at some level. Food and drink menu is simple. Bacon, ham, Chinese sausage, sausage with various style of eggs is for breakfast. Or even bunch coz you have wait for quite some time. Been there about 9am, we got a table at 10am. Just for try.

My new favorite all-day dining place in Bangkok. Came at 10:30am on a weekday, but still had to wait around 30 minutes for a table. Staff are kind and kept informing each guest about their wait times which I thought was a nice gesture. The restaurant holds a rich history and their breakfast servings has been around for almost a century. Ambience felt very vintage and old school which suits the area it’s located. I got seated on the second floor and ordered : -2 Fried eggs with 3 toppings (bacon, ham, sausages) -Kaya toast -Butter, sweetened milk, and sugar toast -Ice fresh milk (AKA Thai pink milk) All were at a reasonable price and came out of the kitchen really fast. I enjoyed my time at On Lok Yun and will definitely visit again. It’s very simple, and because of this it just makes you feel at home.
